Women’s weekend takes you to the next step in kayaking. Learn safety techniques, signals, rescue and trip preparation. Also learn boat control, carving and edging.

Level 2 / Rescue Ready~ Aug 4 & 5* 10am-4pm
Take your skills to the next level. Build confidence and learn to lead. This instructional course prepares paddlers for the next step in kayaking independence.

Second year offering Free kayak demos in the Castlegar area. Every Monday night all summer long we are hosting a free kayak demo. First come first serve. We are excited to showcase new 2012 kayak designs.

Beginner Immersion ~ Aug 6 - 10 * Monday - Friday
Immerse yourself in the art of whitewater kayaking. This unique course allows students to experience the magic of whitewater during the day and an opportunity to explore the Slocan Valley in the evenings. We camp across from the river with nearby mountain biking and hiking trails.

Kananaskis Whitewater Festival
KWF is a gathering of whitewater kayaking enthusiasts for a weekend of total FUN. It's a chance to get out on the water, take a clinic, or go on a guided run. If you're interested in a little friendly competition you can enter events such as the freestyle rodeo,boater cross,team ball race and much more. There is also lots going on off the water as well, BBQ,throwbag toss, live music,massage,demos,yoga,auctions. Oh there are always some surprises!!
